Currently based out of: Anchorage, Alaska

Weight: 175 lbs

Height: 6'2"

Team: U.S. Ski Team and Alaska Pacific University

Other Activities: Fishing, Camping, Basketball, and just being outdoors

How did you start skiing: I started downhill skiing as a young child but when my family realized cross country skiing in the Methow Valley was some of the best in the region, we made the switch and I have been competing in cross country ever since.

Goals: I want to be competitive at the highest level and to represent my country at the Olympics. The Olympics only happen every four years but there are still races with the fastest skiers in the World that happen almost every weekend in the winter, these races are called the World Cups. I want to be fast enough to feel like I'm competitive at this level and someday I would like a World Cup gold medal to prove it. Outside of competition I enjoy working with young skiers, I want to inspire kids and teach them that sports can be a lot of fun and a great way to spend time with their friends. I also want to show them that if they work hard at their sport it can lead to a lot of awesome opportunities in the future, similar to the opportunities I have been given.
